The ace pilot heads off to do heroic stuff...

The plane and its fearsome pilot were modeled and rendered in Cinema 4D. The main clouds and trail of exhaust smoke were painted in Photoshop. The lower clouds are an aerial photo I took ages ago, painted over in Photoshop to better match the look of the rest of the image.
